Operation and maintenance instructions of SZB water ring vacuum pump:

1. Before starting, check whether the motor rotation direction is consistent with the pump rotation direction. After starting the vacuum pump, check whether the packing compaction degree is appropriate (the packing should not be too tight, and the water in the pump can leak out as drops) and whether the bearing operation and lubrication are normal.

2. After the vacuum pump is started, the cooling water is poured into the cooling pipe (16) on the pump body (screw hole installed on the side of the pump body). If there is a steam water separator, it can be injected from the steam water separator. Therefore, the size of water supply pipe should be strictly controlled within the specified range, and the pressure should be around. MPa. Therefore, valves should be installed on the water supply pipeline to adjust the water supply measurement.

3. When the vacuum pump is in normal operation, it is necessary to check whether there is vibration, listen carefully for noise in the pump, and measure the temperature of the stuffing box and bearing (the normal bearing temperature shall not be higher than the ambient temperature by 35 ℃ but the working temperature shall not exceed 70 ℃). If the temperature is too high, stop the machine immediately to check the cause.

4. When the water pump is used for water diversion, the air in the water pump will be fully sucked out during the operation. After the water is sucked out from the water pump, the pump will be started. After the water pump works normally, the vacuum pump will be shut down and the valve of the suction pipeline will be closed.

5. Shut down the vacuum pump in the following order.

1) Close the gate valve on the intake pipe.

2) Close the gate valve on the water supply pipeline. Do not stop the pump immediately after the water supply is stopped. Keep the pump running for 1-2 minutes to discharge part of the working fluid.

3) Turn off the motor.

4) If the shutdown time is more than one day, open the plug at the bottom of the pump body to drain the water in the pump body.

6. When the pump is used under the following conditions, the auxiliary equipment shall be added.

1) If the air or gas contains dust, a filter must be installed on the intake pipe.

2) When the extracted gas contains a large amount of steam, a condenser must be installed in front of the intake pipe.

3) When removing corrosive gas, neutralization must be carried out before entering the pump.

4) The temperature of the extracted gas or air is more than 35 ℃. Before entering the pump, it must pass through the cooling device to ensure that its temperature does not exceed 35 ℃.

5) When a large amount of liquid is contained in the extracted gas or air, a separator must be installed in front of the intake pipe of the pump.

6) The starting current of the pump often exceeds the rated current of the motor several times, so it must be equipped with a starting switch.
